Some of our urgent needs are ongoing, some are immediate, all are important. When you donate toward an urgent need, you are contributing to those needs of the children or specific projects that fall outside the scope of sponsorship. Donating to an urgent need is a wonderful way to touch the lives of many children and be assured 100% of your contribution will be allocated to the urgent need(s) you have chosen.

Back-2-School Shopping Trip!

The first day of school should be filled with fun, confidence and excitement. For many children in the U.S. this is not the case, and it can affect a child’s ability to learn. Many children do not know what it’s like to shop for new school clothes and supplies. You can change that! Help send a child to school prepared and eager to learn this year. A gift of $150 will send a child on a back-to-school shopping trip! The child and a volunteer shopper will spend an evening at a local Target store looking for 2 complete school outfits, including shoes and a jacket. Each child will also receive a backpack loaded with grade level appropriate school supplies. Help Now!

Haven Fund

One of our greatest challenges, on a daily basis, is to find sponsors for the many children on our program. This is a major concern as children are often waiting months and sometimes years to be chosen for sponsorship. You can imagine how heartbreaking it is for us not to be able to fill that need sooner. Your contribution to the Haven Fund will help provide immediate support to these waiting children until a sponsor can be found. Any gift amount will help.
