Help Us Plant the Seed

In our fight against poverty, we employ many strategies. Our programs provide children and their families with such basic necessities as food, shelter, clothing, education, access to medical care, and emergency aid. To ensure that we continue to meet this commitment of combating childhood poverty, we have launched our 2009 Seeds of Hope Annual Fund campaign. The Annual Fund helps us respond quickly to the needs of the children on our program; needs that sponsorship alone cannot address. The Annual Fund also helps us train our volunteers, translate our children’s letters, coordinate sponsorships and resourcefully strengthen our infrastructure so that we can assist the children in a greater capacity. Deadline Approaching, You can help!

So far, we have raised $6,530 on the GlobalGiving site www.globalgiving.com for our Back-to-School program. This earns us a permanent spot on the GlobalGiving site! We are in 4th place out of 74 organizations and have a real shot at 3rd which would earn us an additional $1,000. There's not much time. June 30th is the deadline! We REALLY need your help. Please consider a gift via the GlobalGiving site, and help us send 180 inner city children on a back-to-shopping trip!
